Christopher P. Lenzo is a partner in the law firm of Green, Savits & Lenzo, LLC. He represents employees in employment law matters, including negotiation, mediation, arbitration, trial litigation, and appellate litigation of claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, failure to accommodate disabilities, family and medical leave violations, breach of contract, and wage and hour violations. He also mediates employment disputes and conducts workplace investigations.
In his practice, Mr. Lenzo has litigated several reported cases, some of which involved landmark decisions.
Mr. Lenzo has been elected one of the Best Lawyers in America in Labor and Employment Law and a New Jersey Super Lawyer in Employment Litigation by his peers in the employment law bar. He currently serves on the Employment Law Subcommittee of the New Jersey Supreme Court Model Civil Jury Charge Committee. Mr. Lenzo mediates employment law cases for the American Arbitration Association. He serves as a Master for the Sidney Reitman Employment Law American Inn of Court.
Mr. Lenzo has also served as Plaintiffs' Co-Chair of the Statutory Rights Sub-Committee of the Employment Rights and Responsibilities Committee of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association, and as a member of the Pro Bono Committee of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association. Mr. Lenzo is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), and has served as Secretary, Executive Board Member, Legislative Committee Chair, and Amicus Committee Chair for NELA's New Jersey affiliate (NELA/NJ). Mr. Lenzo is also a member of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, for which he currently serves as Co-Chair of the Post-Employment Restrictions Subcommittee of the Executive Committee.
Mr. Lenzo writes and lectures on employment law frequently for such organizations as the American Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the National Employment Lawyers Association/New Jersey, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America - New Jersey, New Jersey Lawyer - The Magazine, the New Jersey Law Journal, the New Jersey Labor and Employment Law Quarterly, the Essex County Bar Association, the Somerset County Bar Association, the Practising Law Institute, the Council on Education in Management, the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Human Resources Advisory Group of North Jersey.
